The materials in the Eurocode 4
Abstract
The behaviour of structural materials, as considered in EC4 for composite steel and concrete structuers, is analyzed in this work. The mechanical and thermomechanical models assumed by the eurocode for concrete and steel are reviewed, as well as the material properties ffrom which the models are cuantitatively characterized.
