Behaviour of composite structural elements under cyclic loads

Abstract


This paper presents the begaviour of concrete composite structural members under cyclic loads. The mechanisms acring during shear transfer along the interface are analyzed, as well as the variables that modify them. Emphasis is given to calculating the loss of rigidity of the interface after several load cycles. Finally, a numerical model is presented to evaluate the deflection of composite beams, which takes into account the shear begaviour of the interface.
