Bridges built by consecutive spans
Abstract
This workl presents a series of bridges designed by the technical office Proyectos y Estructuras, S.A. (PROES), whose construction was finished between 1990 and 1993. In all cases, the construction method used was that of consecutive spans and the construction firm was Castro Matelo S.A. The deck cross section typologies used were: box girder, slab or hollow slab and double joist slab. The maximum width of the platform in the works presented is 14,00 m and the maximum span length is 50 m.
