Concrete-steel structural connection details in building
Abstract
This article is a brief summary of different types of structural connections between steel and other elements of reinforced concrete in the building industry. To be more precise, the article describes different punching connection details between metallic supports and concrete decks, and connection details between composite beams and concrete supports, with the constructive procedures that allow minimizing or preventing from bringing welder teams on site. Furthermore, the article concludes with a presentation of different proposals for product development of industrial devices for steel workshops.
